What is a reactively scheduled visit
Reactive visits allow visits to be moved between engineers but keep the same time slot.
These are useful for visits where a tenant has been promised a time slot.
What happens to reactively scheduled visits?
Reactive visits will change between available engineers but not the time slot.
How do I choose the best slot?
There is a numbering system available on the reactive window, this marks slots with a number between 1 and 5.
5 is the most cost effective for you, 1 is the least. Blank slots are unavailable.
In this example there are only 5 or 4's showing, this will change based on what work is booked in and travel time.
What if I want to use a specific engineer.
Locking a specific engineer is sometimes needed and is very easy to accomplish, on the right hand side where is says Automatic Engineer Selection. left clicking here will show a drop down box with available engineers.
Selecting the Engineer you require will lock the visit into that engineer and won't move unless prompted.
This will also update the slot cost efficiency as well.
To change back to the Automatic Engineer ,simply click the X button in the same box.
We recommend keeping it on Automatic Engineer Selection for the most cost efficacy.
What if the job will take longer than the SOR will allow for duration?
Sometimes a visit may take longer than the SOR selected, you can manually override this in the bottom right hand side.
Clicking on the Clock icon will allow you to manually select the duration.
