To create a new visit, navigate to Jobs/Visits > Visits and click Create New.
There are multiple steps for visit creation. For this we will run through an example visit and address.

Address Lookup
The first step is to enter the property postcode.

You can use either the Postcode search or enter the address manually.

For the postcode search to work there must be a space between the area and local codes (for example: M33 2AA).
If the property already exists in your database it will be marked in grey, otherwise it will be blue.
Once you have found the property you require simply click the list item.

New Visit Page
The new visit page includes two columns. The left has the visit information and the right has engineer information.

In our example visit we have other visits against this address, therefore this is highlighted in blue at the top of the left column. If an existing visit for the property is the same visit type as the one being created, it is recommended to update the existing visit, rather than create a new one.

You will also be notified if there are any overdue invoices or overdue appliance services.

Visit Details - Job Details
If this visit will be a part of a job, you can either create a new job or assign it to an existing job. You can do this by selecting the boxes highlighted in blue.

If creating a new job you can give it a name and assign a status to it. By default these will be blank. If it is for an existing job, you can choose a job from the drop down and edit the status.

Property Details
Here you can edit the property or contact details. For example, here you can change the contact number, bank/payment details as well as add risk or property notes.

Edit Schedule
Here you can schedule the visit whilst creating it. A more in depth view of scheduling can be found here. Alternatively, if you would prefer to leave the visit unscheduled you can switch the Scheduled toggle.

However, if you would like to schedule these works you can do this Manually, Automatically or Reactively by selecting the option at the top of the Edit Schedule section.

Manual Scheduling
With manual scheduling you can choose to schedule the visit for a specific time. Any conflicts with the schedule will show in the Engineer's tab on the right. Whilst scheduling, you can also set the job's priority.

If the visit is a part of a job you will have the option to apply the priority to both the visit and job or just the visit itself.
Auto Scheduling
This will create a floating job. Propeller will select a position in the diary before the deadline and schedule the visit for then. This may change depending on manual or reactive works. More about auto-scheduling can be found here.
Reactive Scheduling
Reactive scheduling will schedule the visit in the most optimal time slot based on your engineers schedules. More about reactive scheduling can be found here.

Visit Details
Here you can select the trade type as well as the activity type for the visit. These will change depending on what engineer is assigned and what works they can carry out. You can also select which assets to create a visit for, or by default all assets for that property/type.

You can then add/edit any custom references for the visit as well as visit instructions/SOR/materials required for the engineer.

Once done, click Create Visit or Show Intelligent Schedular if you are using reactive.
