This release focuses on Single Sign on (SSO) and back-end improvements for various systems and platform stability.
Single Sign On - SSO
We have introduced Single Sign On (SSO) for both Microsoft Accounts and Google Accounts for website users, either can be configured as well as specifying using SSO exclusively or with the traditional Propeller Sign in (with Org code, user name and Password).
The SSO functionality also works with our currently 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) method.
SSO Can be enabled in our new Company Settings interface which can be found under Settings > Company Settings > Configure Single Sign-On
Clicking Edit will allow you to start the SSO Wizard.
- Allows you to enable to disable the SSO for your organisation.
- Allows you to choose either Microsoft or Google for your SSO provider.
- Allows you to force either only SSO login or allow for the both SSO and the standard Propeller login (with Org code, user name and Password).
- Allows you to select if you would like 2 Factor Authentication to be present along side the SSO or standard login.
Once the Wizard is complete your employees will then be able to use the two new buttons on the login screen to access the SSO login system
They will be prompted to login either via their Microsoft or Google Accounts.
Automated No Access SMS messages.
A new template has been added, which can be found in the template manager Settings > Template Manager
Adding a new Template now has the option for adding a single Automatic SMS message template, these are triggered when an Engineer clicks the missed visit button in the app.
