August 2025 Release Notes

Due to absences this release is comprised of two "sprints" - code named Spaghetti Bolognese.

This release is focused at improving the Tags functionality further along with API improvements, and Intelligent Scheduling fixes.

Intelligent Scheduling

• Fixed a bug with the Sync All Data button overwriting data in specific scenarios 
• Fixed a bug with Engineer work geofencing (work areas) not saving
• Fixed a bug where SOR(NVM) times used for scheduling were multiplied by the amount of skills present
• Fixed a bug causing tooltips to show different times to the scheduled time
• Fixed a bug where visits older than 15 days are not restored correctly when rescheduled causing double bookings
• Fixed a bug where visits scheduled more than the max days in advance are not picked up by the scheduling system causing double bookings
• Added functionality to allow admins on reactive scheduled visits to add instructions when using further works
• First iteration of Priorities and deadlines transferring to a new visit when using further works.

Tags

• Tags added to Quotes creation and edit page
• Tags added to Purchase Order creation and edit page
• Added the ability to filter finance items by Visit / Job level tags
• Added the ability to add tags when bulk creating visits
• Added the ability to edit tags when bulk editing visits

Automated Missed Visits

• Added the ability to have multiple missed visits
• Added the ability to assign specific landlords to the automated missed visit templates

General Communications

Additional template options & filtering has been added to all communication types - this is to allow templates for all visit statuses - for example - to be able to filter by "Completed" or "Closed" visits and send out post-completion surveys. 

To set this up:

• Navigate to Settings --> Template Manager
• If the template exists already - edit it - or click Add New Template (Only for Visit Communications, not Service Reminders)
  • For either option, a new "Visit Status" filter is available - (Note: pending is the default / all old templates will be using pending) in the below example, the template will only show for "Completed" visits when the filter is applied:
• Once setup - these can be accessed via Communications --> Visit Communications, with a new filter option, for example, to filter for Completed visits only & templates that match those filters:

APIs

• New Visit (Job) endpoint to allow quotes to be created at the point of Visit (Job) creation
• New Quote  endpoint to allow a new quote to be created to an existing Visit (Job)
• New Job (Job Groups) endpoint to allow the full or partial update of a Job (Job Groups) by either reference or ID
• New Job (Job Groups) endpoint to allow for the deletion of a Job (Job Groups) by reference

General

• Added extra functionality for including / excluding properties in the Visit > View all Advanced Filter report.
• New Engineer Events page with filters and more functionality - the old page will be available to use for some time for now. 
• Research into changing some back end processes which might be causing the site to be intermittently slow.
• Fixed an issue where editing a template directly after creation caused an error
• Added nominal descriptions to cost and sales codes drop down box.
• Carried out back end improvements to photo loading and thumbnails to help speed up and reduce server load when viewing property, job and visit view pages
