Mobile App Settings

To add, edit or Delete Mobile App Settings first log into the main website app

Use the left-hand side menu and select Settings

Under settings select  Mobile App Settings

Here you can set either individual engineer users' app settings or a global default app setting.

To add a user setting, simply click the create button, this will automatically apply the global app settings.

If you wish to customise these further you can click the Edit button next to the Engineers name, or delete to remove the preferences.

The following options are customisable.

• When jobs are completed a log entry is created. How long do you wish to keep these entries available on the device?    
• How do you want Propeller mobile to manage job synchronisations?
• Type of job closure process to be used, capture signature and satisfaction on one or two pages?
• How do you want the engineer to handle the completion of an invoice or material list on completion of a job?
• How do you want the engineer to be reminded to capture missing dates of manufacture and installation?
• Do you want engineers to confirm that all appliances and installations are present and accurate on completion of a job?
• Engineer Authorisation Settings
• Do you want the engineer to have access to the 'Mark all as...' menu option when completing certificates?
• Do you want the engineer to have access to the landlords contact details?
• Do you want to allow the engineer to have access to 'Contacts' and use the 'Book a new job' option from mobile devices?
• Do you want to force the engineer to complete jobs down in sequence?
• Do you want to allow the engineer to change the job completion date and time when finishing a job?
• Do you want to allow engineers to schedule new jobs when logging missed visits or when further works are required ?
• Do you want quotes and invoices to be sent down to the engineer with job documents and allow them to create quotes and invoices on the app?
• Do you want to disable the 'Upload Logo' function from device?
• Do you want to force the engineer to add a CE/GC number to Gas appliances?
• Do you want to force the engineer to add a Serial number to Gas appliances?
• Do you want to allow the engineer to append extra information to the description of invoice line items?
